20.08.11 GIT Based RTi Core

As Promised...

A new GIT based RTi Core image.

Changelog:

-Apsect ratio fix
-Deep standby changed to shutdown because no difference between standby and deepstandby
-Videmode plugin changed for aspect ratio. Use scalingmode letterbox for auto scaling of 4:3 etc
-Added playback of recordings through MediaCenter from Internal recordings list (expirimental)
-Fixed cifs mounting in mount manager
-Added azbox grab again(hopefully working)

MediaCenter update:
-Use blue button -> RTI installer to install MediaCenter
-Added recordings playback (Please provide small samples if you have none working files. Samples must include the .ts and .**** files)
-Added autofs for all options
-Added aspect ratio (you can change while playing a movie. Active scalingmode not yet detected)

NOTE: Git image is still in progress. Do not hesistate to provide us with feedback on bugs, but do mind that we are already working as fast as we can to provide you with a stable image.

NOTE2: Entering MediaCenter from some channels can results in COGS showing for a few seconds. This is because the Media part if seperate from the TV part because of playback peformance.

Enjoy...!

Installed the update today, MC seems to be fixed. There is only a problem with the you-tube player, it starts and the search function is working only when trying to play the video the box locks up. This is realy the most stable release from the RTI team, the fun of using this box is growing every day now ;)

If I look a channel longer than 30 minutes I have toneproblems. The tone comes second times with a short delay (reverberation). After zapping to another channel and retour tone is OK.

HDMI problem: after a long Standby one loses the picture and only reboot helps, apparently...

Slow after installing CrossEPG?

DDamir plugin - green screen?

Some experience problems with OSCam, apparently...

But a move in the right direction. I tried some multimedia and it seems better, yes!

CIFS is sorted now, as advertised, there are some reports.

Well done, Sattommy!

A kind of iCVS, "raw", "core" image, to which we install what we want, seems a good idea, indeed - especially with online, easily upgradable drivers and so on!
