It keeps getting better and better, with this latest days updates, it's fine enough to day by day use in my honest opinion.
Plus ripper today fixed tunerB decode. Will be available in RTi installer upadte plugin.

it has its glitches but its very usable now and continues to improve all the time
all thats lacking for my use is the blind scan options.
but big thanks to all the people who invested there time to achieve

I'm Loving IT.
Got a very stable box although I can't really comment on the Media player as I've not used it in anger.
But for me I can watch TV, got omnikey card readers working on NDS.

I'm using the GIT version from the weekend 110820

E2 was a very good improvement for AZBug box, however not perfect and still a long way to go, but as new hardware comes to the stores, my guess is that old Elite and Premium will slowly have their releases stopped.
I say this because the RTi team is not redirecting efforts to make the new E2 GIT compatible with all emulators, and is concentrating in CCCam and MgCamd, that indicates some stopping on the development of the software for the old boxes to be able to launch the new ones with a stable E2 release, its my 50cents, my guess! Human resources are not unlimited so one has to make some compromise choices.
Even so great work for RTi Team, everyone must recognize their skills and effort if there was any doubt!!!

hi mate, my advice is for you to install and test latest mediacenter (RTi installer plugin update). It's pretty stable now.

srt UTF-8 or ANSI. U can change subtitles size, position,colour,enconde.
avi mkv ac3 dts mp3 play ok, and we can even change aspect ratio, all in mediacenter menu like in original firmware.
Of course, bugs will still be found, and fixed (so far not much). But my advice is for you to try. It's way better then before.
GTI release. Also mytube uses MRUA too now, so all videos play perfect and stable.

ive only recently got my hands on an azbox . i need it for 4:2:2 feeds mainly , i have popcorn hours all round my house so no need for media player on my azbox . i just wanted a cheap hd box to control a motorised dish and be a client . it does just that but even then it runs hot and requires the odd reboot . all this on original firmware . i will try E2 when i have more time to play around with the azbox but untill then original firmware works fine .

Its gotta be E2 for me, the epg far far superior to OF and there are readily available channel lists.

Its fairly stable, but does still have some pretty good bugs, but then so does OF
