** Complete Image with latest updates **
Changelog:

-New drivers (24.08.2011)
-Fixed second tuner decoding
-Added recording one channel, watching second channel on the same transponder with one channel. (Limit is 2 channels per tuner)
-Apsect ratio fix
-Deep standby changed to shutdown because no difference between standby and deepstandby
-Videmode plugin changed for aspect ratio. Use scalingmode letterbox for auto scaling of 4:3 etc
-Added playback of recordings through MediaCenter from Internal recordings list (expirimental)
-Fixed cifs mounting in mount manager
-Added azbox grab again(hopefully working)


MediaCenter update:

-Use blue button -> RTI installer to install MediaCenter
-Added recordings playback (Please provide small samples if you have none working files. Samples must include the .ts and .**** files)
-Added autofs for all options
-Added aspect ratio (you can change while playing a movie. Active scalingmode not yet detected)
-Added scalingmode option in AV settings
-Return to tv scaling mode on exit
-Fixed Audio player play all and playlist stuff
-Fixed stripped header mkv (at least on the files i had to test)

NOTE: Git image is still in progress. Do not hesistate to provide us with feedback on bugs, but do mind that we are already working as fast as we can to provide you with a stable image.

Small problem with the video out selection during first config, the screen go's black only scart is giving picture.
I managed to do the config with the small VDF display, it worked to get the picture back again. ;)

Blagi my man, is the link you sent (all about the SPAZE image) still true for this new 24.08.2011 based RTi Core image>?

I.e will the same things exist, like pressing blue for the user scripts \ flash expander etc.

also, if ive installed the image to a 2gb USB stick do i need flash expander (or is that only for DOM installs?)

For DOM = "Flash".

Blue button has nothing to do with Flash Expander. Once installed and rebooted you go to Plugins to initiate it. Reboot when successful/done. And pray!

It may work well with the AZbox model that the developer(s) have but it ain't in mine (Elite)...

I had problems with FE and especially GIT 24.8.11 - error "=s" after reboot. Also with the second core update of 23.8.11. The same thing. Others reported the same thing.

Beware!!!

SPAZE and GIT need the same folders and files for Emus/CS SW, sure...

SPAZE Team have included the FE rc1, which works with it. Do not try the rc4 with it!

hey, i got that error this morning, after had mucked around with the SPAZE team image, and put back the GITimage, i had to leave for work, so dont know what i need to do, i will just retry the install again.

sorry, you missed my point, i realise blue button has nothing to do with flash expander, i just meant, the blue button takes you to some plugins on the Spaze image ...such as Flash Expander.

i meant, after installing the GIT image, will the blue button take me to the same place....

i dont get why on the images, you dont have a PLUGINS menu (like every other E2 install) and from there you do all your plugins like EMU, SKINS, EPG etc.

why is it all so difficult with the AZBOX images....is it cos its still early days?

You could read a few guides and search in your box and you will quickly see that there is a menu [sic!] that takes you quickly to Plugins...

In the SPAZE post you have it explained, too... but...

All it's the i-key blue button.

Can you see Flash Expander using the blue i-key? These are "extensions", I believe, that you will see there.

FE you just activate once and do not touch after that. Press: MENU -> Plugins -> FE -> choose USB stick -> OK -> wait -> reboot when prompted (if all goes well)...

But some of us can't install it -> stuck on =s during a reboot...

Or second core update of 23.8.11, for that matter...

As I said: beware!

Yes you can, I actually recorded two free to air SD channels on 13 East while watching third on same transponder, no crash what so ever.

I havent tried the encoded channels yet because I am having problems enabling mgcamd 1.35a on GIT 24/08/11, I am waiting for the experts to confirm if it GITS issue or if Ia m doing somthing wrong??

yes recorded a film (cs) and played back fine....even played back in webinterface via laptop over wireless!!

You probably have a network problem , or a PC problem
Because that works for me with an Elite, on both tuners

a few things ive noticed....

in media player - the coloured fast forward \ rewinds etc buttons do nothing. Nor does the real handset fast fwd \ rwd (does denote a symbol on the tv but doesnt do anything)

If you mean with recorded stream (.ts), this is unfortunately normal now. Reason is, in .**** file line 6 and 7 is 0. Here should be start and stoptime.

You can use the "MENU" button. There you can give the time you want to go to.

i was getting this after installing TSPANEL on the SPAZE image, but it worked fine on the GIT image.

does it let you add other stuff ok, just not EMU ???

why dont u download cccam manualy and install it (stick it into root) and install local extension...

I installed this Image. It's work good but not perfect for me. I have sound problems on this image. Every five ore ten min. sound don't playing. To resolve the problem i restart my box and it beginns again ore i change the channel to another the one and back.

The difference is in drivers.

Therefore the models HD will not be abandoned.

Yes, DM is trash :) This new E2 from last year on AZBox is awesome, every day you can something experiment with new images from all teams :-)

Not many teams left, any more... Just SPAZE and PB... and for a reason... Being treated badly with not very enthusiastic support, shall we say... So, they struggle on, hat down to them...

To be fair, of late Sattommy seems to have gone out of his way to help out some of these guys and that has to be congratulated (see new SPAZE, teletext sorted out etc.)!

DM is only going to 1080i and there (upscaling, 4:3 content shown as 16:9 etc.), they are inferior to AZ HD. The rest - not yet, shall we say...

Most RTi images are falling apart sooner than another one is ready and drivers are nowhere near the level of DMM's drivers...

Stability, therefore, plus full functionality of AZ HD is still a wish in OS's eye...

If we are trying to at least somewhat objective, that is...

Tribalism is not my thing, I have to say...

Is there a chance to sort out the lights when the receiver is in stand-bay does not light up when the receiver is turned on then is lit blue when the recording light is red and the green mountain of scrambled channels

I listen that x times last year, but every time disapointing. Audio was fixed 100 times but never right.


Opensat sell trash and they must thank's God to have RTi Team, that team trying something. But after Me and MiniMe I'm not optimistic to Elite/Premium/Ultra models will have good enough E2. We will see.
