Hi there. Can I use other c-lines and still keep what I already have, i.e. s+...I'm looking into adding more from different server via ethernet. Thanks.

yes , should be no problem with c or n lines despite keeping s+ ethernet working

You can find further info on adding c lines here:

Thanks guys, I take it I can run s+ and s** side by side - also is there any chance of corrupting my spiderbox/software if done incorrectly or can any errors be corrected... this is via new contact and not sure or his knowedge. thanks

just backup your channel list , if necessary also backup the system data too , then its all backed up , and write down your mac code and usals

in theory you cannot damage anything just by entering c lines with your remote control , you either do it correctly , or you dont , and its easy to erase whatever you put in using your remote , using the cfg file can be more tricky as you have to be very precise with windows notepad , or better still with the program notepad++ ( free download )

the 2 will coexist but obviously if the c line provides a channel that s+ provides it wont know which to use , so conflicts can arise , in which case you can alter priority or just turn off the s+ or cline as required using your remote
