I have an old VBox using Disecq 1.2 with a Spiderbox HD9000 driving a Jaeger 99G H to H motor at 36VDC and it was easy to setup and working well so far.

I used the VBox and its remote alone whilst setting the motor declination and due south etc but once the motor was tracking the arc then it was easy to set the HD9000 to control the VBox East and West and then store the positions. Now I dont have to touch the VBox at all and its installed in a cupboard about 5m from the HD9000 for convenience.

Hope this helps.

They work fine with a spiderbox.
I have 2 vbox's one on my pair of channel masters 1.2m and 1.8m
they both can be switch between either reciever my Spiderbox or DM800HD-se.
I would say park your dish at 13e with your old recieverr 1st as it a good place to work from.
Keep a note of what sat Number you give each sat will be helpfull in the future as mine have never been reprogrammed since i changed from my pair of old echostar recievers ad3000ipva and ip3600ipva some 5+ years ago. but had many recievers on the vboxII's as they are away in the loft.
