TS Files No Audio

I have some US .ts files which play on the dm8000, although with no audio, and none is selectable.

Had this issue previously on the old OE1.5 images although it was fixed in the later images. The latest OE1.6 images don't play audio.

I have emailed support at Dream Multimedia months ago to ask them to try and fix this but they have never bothered to replay.

Any suggestions?

well, i don't have any sound problem with .ts files !
Maybe Is just because ntsc .ts are not supported ?

Use TSmuxer or TSremux.
Load the file and see if the program see the audio,and if it does,remux the file.
That should solve the problem in 3 minutes.

I think the problem is that the US files use a different PID for AC3 audio:

For instance a couple of recordings from UK have PIDS of 0294 & 0296.

The US ones that don't have audio on the Dreambox have PIDS of 0014.

I have posted on the DMM board to see if I have any better luck there!

This seems to have been fixed after upgrading to the latest Oozoon 28/10.

However, CrossEPG is not working now aargh!
