help setting up new DOM

Hi,

I have bought a 4GB transcend DOM and plan to use it in my Azbox premium. Will AZUp partition the DOM automatically or do i have to use another program. The DOM comes with a power cable. Do i need to use it or does the ide port supply enough power. I have an internal hdd installed.

A new SPAZE application to flash the receiver will have the custom size DOM facility, so you will choose how big a DOM and partitions...

I was going to hold off for a new SPAZE firmware, read they are the best ones. Any news when it is due? Keen to get my new DOM into my AZBox.

Do u know if i need to use the power cord i got with the DOM or does the ide port supply power?

Some months ago, I installed a 4 GB Transcend DOM. I cannot recall excactly (and I am too lazy to open the receiver), but I see that there was a power cord shipped along with the DOM, and it's still sleeping in the box. So I cannot have used it.
