I have installed this version yesterday at night and runs really nice, no sound problems yet :)

I always use the last azup (2.1.3) and installed on Dom , playing mkv or any file from my nass-server or HDD isn't working with the pre-installed mediacenter.

Just uninstalled the pre-installed mediacenter and installed the RTI mediacenter with the RTI-installer, playing TS files en mkv seems to go now.

I have included the RTI mediacenter plugin to this post, for those who don't want to first install the RTI installer.

what confuses me with this is the fact it's a tar.gz file,normally these go in my temp folder on my dreambox,so how does it work.do you unzip the file then load it up.also i can't get azup to work as it keeps coming up with an error and says it's missing a file,any help appreciated

file is missing or invalid" then follow the next steps. I have included the files needed.
copy it to \windows\system32 or maybe \windows\syswow64 on
a 64 bit system, then register it manually.

If needed it will ask, if not azup will work.

If you are receiving errors about an ocx file, registering the file may solve
the problem. To register an ocx file simply follow the simple steps
below.


1.Locate the file using windows explorer or My
Computer. Alternatively search for the filename.

2.Hold down the
shift key and right click on the file. Then click 'Open With...' from the
menu.

3.An 'Open With' dialog box should appear. Click the button
'Other...'.

4.Navigate to your windows\system32 directory and
select the file 'RegSvr32.exe'. Do a file search for it if you have trouble
locating the exact folder. On Windows 2000 it is typically located in
c:\WINNT\System32. Click Open to select the file. Then click OK on the 'Open
With' dialog.

5.You should see a message indicating the file was
successfully registered. If you see an error message, try restarting your
computer and going through the above process again.

For me a lott better,m no sound bug and no problems playing files with the mediacenter.
Also opening channels with the CCcam plugin installed from de PB-addon manager is faster, general a very nice beta.

Yes, but that one isn't working, (this is a known bug and will be fixed in the next beta) just install the mediacenter using the RTI installer or install the one added to one of the above posts.

Nice my friend the more the better, but I have to admitt the PB image is very fast and stable.
Replacing MC with the rti version and all works very nice

Just installed mediacenter from RTI addon plugin + az concinity HD skin.
And all is perfect.
Love mediacenter new FONT too.
It's really fast and smooth.
Keep it coming PB team. :) Best image so far.

Yes i did with Dutch srt subs, the are out of sync.

But how??
I m trying to load Greek srt's but they can't be decoded..
Tried converting them to utf-8 but doesn't help...
Any ideas?

i did it with jazup(eventually),
put the patch bin file on a formatted fat32 usb stick,stick it in the azbox.turn it on,update from usb.once thats done,it will go into recovery mode,put the ip address in jazup,select dom and make sure you untick the ext4 box otherwise it will error out,then hit the update e2 button,it will ask for the patch file,locate it from the folder you have it in,then go and hopefully it will load up.

download the Rti core 1.2 image and in there you'll see a folder saying official to e2,inside that there is a patch bin file.thats the one i used to put on the usb stick.

The mediacenter can be uninstalled with the powerboard-center with the addon-manager, in the section extensions you see the mediacenter installed (green).
Just uninstall by selecting the extension, and after this reboot and its gone

There are settings in de addon-manager (speaker settings) but i always use my own standaard E2 setting in the Azbox, just upload them with dreamset.


First check the following setting in Dreamset for a succelfull uploading.

1. Firmware: select, enigma 2 ver 4 (telnet reload)
2. Telnet before write settings: init 4; sleep 5

The Rti-installer can be installed by going to applications/Powerboard-Center/Addon-manager/extensions/ and there you can finf the RTI installer

good image sometimes wont let me swap between hd and hd channels and picons not working but may need diferent set i only have spaze picons but overall really impressed smooth fast and works well .

you have to put in the directory picon (media / usb) and it should look like this (media / usb / picon) find the path and rebbot box that must work
