Looks you're ok m8

Format usb stick with fat32, place latest original fw on stick called patch.bin and boot, choose option4 and then option 1

Hi,

There is a full .PDF provided with JaZUp and you didn't take the time to read it.... so don't say that JaZUp kill your box when it doesn't.

I think JazUp a lot better than AzUp. But it would be very usefull to have a new version. In this new version ext4 Partition should not be by default on.

I don't want to get into an argument,because i'm not the argumentative type,but i read the manual over and over again and followed it to the letter,it crashed at about 60% and wouldn't go any further,tried again and nothing.

@kmc:
I think you have not the check mark from ext4 partition deleted.

From someone who is heavily involved that really is bad support.

You should read this forum more often. It has been said that we stop the devloppement and support of JaZup.
Why continue to strive for a corpse that is azbox?!

@ Kmc
And if you were satisfied with Azup, why you are using jazup then?
Condolences for your box. RIP

Which bad support, we are the only one to provide a full user guide when we release a software (Jazup) or a tutorial (how to recover an Azbox stuck in booting). Yes we provide bad support because we don't repeat each time the same things over and over just to have the message counter increasing to try to get an higher status. :-)

In the past, RTi proudly announced that they switch to ext4 now they return to ext3, yes indeed this cause the 60% stop in the process because the kernel is no longer able to mount in ext4. But this doesn't brick the Azbox.

But as already stated we won't release any new version of Jazup so we no longer provide updates even on do***entation.

@hectore,if you read my post correctly,i used the azup instructions not azup itself(can't use azup because i can't get it to open on my pc),and again if you bothered to read my post correctly,it actually says i've got it working.

if a mod would like to close this thread please do so as it's now sorted, also it's going to end up with back biting and this forum is about helping each other.
