Hello from Wales to all members.
I have been out of the satellite tv scene since we moved house 6 years ago.
I got around to plugging our 90cm motorised Channel Master dish back into our old Echostar AD300IP. Guess what nothing worked. The LNB had died and the 36volt motor had seized solid. A new LNB got us up and running with FTA Hotbird.
We are back up and running now with a Spiderbox 9000HD and a 1.2M dish bit I have a lot to learn.
I have also just bought a Dreambox 500S online to mess about with and learn once again.
We have a Diablo 2 cam and a CAS 3+ programmer but I guess, having read much about it, that my old friends the Matrix Reloaded, Aston, Viacess 1 (black), Irdeto 1 and the original Conax CAMS are just fit for the bin. Mind you, I never did have much use for the Conax one even years ago.
