Can game emulators be ran on e2?

Seeing as e2 is a linux variant and in theory should support the playing of emulated consoles (e.g. nes, genesis etc) would the azbox hw be able to support it and if so how would you go about installing?

Have always wondered this but never found much info on the web. Would be good if it could be done as it would make the stb into the complete media centre

lol yeah but surely with the usb port a controller can be plugged in and the standard linux joystick drivers used?
