Do you get any signal and quality readings on that frequency?

Have you tried 12012V DVB-S QPSK 27500 5/6
or
12092V DVB-S QPSK 27500 3/4
10730H DVB-S QPSK 27500 3/4

Sometimes, if you turn pilots on or off in manual scan it brings up a signal. Regards, Colby.

Which version of the Spiderbox do you have, if it is the 5000 then you can forget the channels in the 30000 range, as that receiver will only clear the Sats up to 27500 range, in other words the SD Channels and not the HD Channels.

9000HD so I should get this frequency.
The strange thing is that I can get channels on other transponders with 30000 except this one.

12013 H 30000 (dvb-s2/8psk) 5/6 Cannot get these.

Thanks for reply hornet Meo is a portugese package on a few transponders including 12012 H 30000.
The plot thickens no joy in manual scan but in motor set up, scanning the one transponder the channels appeared.
No signal though but the odd breaking up picture?

What size dish are you using, and what is your general location?
Have you tried peaking the signal, by moving the dish slightly to the left, and right, using your motor options?

Mickha dish size is 90cm should be OK Im up in the frozen north county Durham.
My next move may be to put the pid details in then scan.

just checked and all ok on 59cm zone 2 dish in north west uk

so you should have no problems on bigger dish

this seems more like you have exceeded the transponder and/or channel limits

suggest you tidy up and get rif of the dead wood and then try again

Thanks Etch / Manic for your help
I followed your instructions on deleting channels / transponders, still no luck with 12013 H 30000 (dvb-s2/8psk) 5/6
The box has been playing up lately it could be a firmware issue so I may go back to factory reset and load everything in again

Horizontal frequencies seem to be a problem sometimes signal then no signal could be a suspect LNB

Just happened to have a couple of Smart Titanium 0.1 LNBs lying around LOL
After fitting scanned transponder again (no signal)
I deleted a number of channels and transponders.
This has got me stumped!
This only seems to be this one transponder 12013 H 30000 (dvb-s2/8psk) 5/6

that is different than the details you posted in post #1

try saving your channel list , adding mine and sorting out usals or diseqc , as my list deffo works so check using my list

another point to consider is if you had some sort of DECT phone system or something similar nearby ( with wifi )

Did you delete that TP, or all of the channels on that TP, before doing the rescan

All is clear now the problem is the A/B switch I have fitted feeding a sly box and the spider.
Removing the switch and feeding the cable direct into the box solves the tuning issue.
Big thanks go to Compass for his offer of further assistance much appreciated m8, thanks everyone also.:respect-023:

hmmm , I have heard of switches causing problems before , so always worth testing on a direct feed when you have problems , just to eliminate switches and the like , ideally , stick the sly box on its own direct feed from a quad or octo lnb on a dedicated sly dish pointed at 28e

Thanks for advice any idea of an alternative to an A/B switch

you could use passthrough with the sly box off the spiderbox loopthrough

but you are much better off having the sly box on its own direct feed

Do both boxes need to be swiched on to make this work?
Unfortunately I am stuck with the switching idea.

Setup a SpiderboxHD7000 the other day with the latest firmware looped it to a DM500 when you put the Spider on standby it killed the Feed instantly
(this maybe be refined to a single receiver or maybe a software issue i didn't have the time on my hands to try older software to look more deeply into the reason for the signal loss.

The feed was ok whilst the box was powered up,
as long as both boxes were on the same satellite and the same TP.

I reversed the loop through procedure which worked perfect, but obviously that wouldn't be possible with a skybox.

Just voicing my feedback

Do both boxes need to be swiched on to make this work?
Unfortunately I am stuck with the switching idea.

you place the spiderbox on standby to allow the loopthrough to the sly box , so the sly box takes over the lnb

if the spiderbox is activated then the sly box wont receive all channels due to the spiderbox controlling the lnb

there is no alternative to the A-B switch apart from doing it manually , which would be silly

so although you are dismissing the separate feeds idea , it really is best to have each box on its own feed

or as the A-B switch is giving problems then the loopthrough idea is the way forward

turn off power saving on the spiderbox to stop the feedthrough being killed when its on standby

Spiderbox would need to be on Standby
in theory for the feed to be transmitted to your skybox
