Usb Modification On 500HD

Hello guys,
anyone here with a modified 500hd ?
I made the modification to enable the Usb port, But i can't get any Usb memory Stick to work.
Tryed until Now 3 usb's sticks, No problem's using a Usb HDD (powered by the USB port).

I can't Understand what is the problem !
