After loading the maxiboot which seems ok no ip address showing on box

check dhcp is set to AUTO and your router should allocate an ip to the icecrypt , assuming your ethernet is connected

otherwise set it manually as you appear to have a netgear looking at the ip of 192.168.0.1 , and these prefer manual ip setting as opposed to auto DHCP

no ip address shows until you are in the firmware, either original fw or e2...

install your image, or boot up into original f/w to get your ip.

go to LAN IP setup, and tick USE ROUTER as DHCP Server, assign a range from 192.168.0.10 - 192.168.0.100 or something...

Hi yes you are correct netgear router how do i set up manually

check the main ip for your router , possibly 192.168.0.1

then check your pc and laptops ip addresses , probably between 192.168.0.2 and 10

allocate a not in use ip to your icecrypt

say 192.168.0.40

netmask is 255 255 255 0

gateway ip is 192.168.0.1 ( your router ip )

you really need to learn LAN networking which is a pc subject , not icecrypt
