software for 9900HD

Does the 9900HD utilize the same software upgrades as the 9000HD?
When i get this receiver will I have to load the last file of the 9000 as I do not seem to find anything for the 9900.

Thanks echelon, after a three year lay-off after moving house and giving up on my trusty Humax 5400, I am now getting back in the saddle with Spiderbox 9900. Expect a few daft questions in the coming week - but I'm glad to see the migration of the old 5400 crowd (especially yourself) onto Spiderbox - I know I have made the right move.

never had the hummy , I had sammy 9500 viaci and then tm1500 and tm9100 , moved onto dreambox 800HD and then got my first spider about 18 months ago :D one thing about the spider is you wont regret it !! just wish I had bought mine even earlier than I did

bear in mind its basically the same tutorials for all of the HD spiders , same HDsoftcam , same channel lists , just different firmwares as you can see with those boxer ones , just choose the right one

the HD manual is almost the same for all too

so most questions have already been answered and also covered in the faq guides as well

its not reading that causes most members a problem ( research , cant beat it )

Have just connected the 9900 on auto ip and within seconds all was on.......
just trying youtube now on a large full hd tv.......
