Loader Software needed for .ABS file (RS232)

Hi, does anyone know of a general purpose loader for an *.ABS file, I am trying to flash a Televes 7118 FTA receiver with the latest file, I have the correct *.ABS file that I have got from the distributer but not a Loader, I have tried a Epromupgrade.exe, although it see's the receiver it won't flash

The upgrade is required as the current firmware has a pre-loaded Astra 19 stored but fails if you re scan over the top, the later firmware is OK, I have 2 receivers the same, just in case anyone has this issue, old firmware TLV-0.3.2.1, new TLV-0.3.2.6

Transfer is via RS232

I have requested the Loader but haven't had a reply back yet

I don't know if this is any use to you, it used to upgrade my Crow box in Saudi. Hope it helps

Hi You can if possible use the HyperTerminal function in your laptop and see if it works. I have used a number of times for Spiderboxes and other receivers and works ok. Regards
