spiderbox frozen

hi i was flicking through some channels and my receiver just frozen . it is on one channel which is not open, and every time i reboot it comes on the same channel.
handset does not work not even the power button. at the front of the receiver it is stuck on ch 0162 any advice please.

Try this : switch off the receiver from the rear switch,unplug the lnb cord and then turn it back on and delete this channel.

sat_rrstm i owe you big time m8, not the best off days sat_rrstm .first my protak 9600pi is down no more support i think. not complaining got a good run out of it. then spider frozen. i was in the process of using the recovery tool had everything connected up ready to go, then i read your post and it solved my problem so thank you so very much m8. i am now in the process of going to the offie for a few beers to calm down.
