DM800 (clone) Hard drive problem

I wonder if anyone can help? I have a dm800hd with dreamelite phoneix image installed. There is a 32 gb ssd hard drive installed. I have FTP several movies (MKV) to the box. The problem I have is that the movies stop playing after 40 -50 minutes. I am unable to watch the last 20 minutes of the movies. any help would be gratefully received.

Spank that Wicked Dreambox.

It should play them but in my experience dreamboxes never have been very good at playing anything they didn't record. I use Nemesis (Ferrari version) and it plays most mkv's I have downloaded but some it fails without notice requiring a complete reboot. The media playability of the DBoxes was never intended by design which is a pity when you look at boxes like the AZbox which has a great media centre as standard but then again is a shyte sat box. I guess you can't get it all in one box? Well at least I haven't found a box with both a great sat & media centre that completely satisfies yet.
