Hello guys,

Frankly speaking, I used to be a member of another forum - dedicated to dreambox-ing, but strangely enough, it has been some days - I can not access that site anymore.
I checked in the web - the site is alive - but for some strange reason I can not access it.

Even my Vu+ Duo can not access the repository of VIX team.

I reflashed my box with PLi image - the same happens - I can not download new plugins, and my softcam can not access its servers. :(

I reflashed with the latest original image (ver. 6.0), I can access its repository sites - i can download plugins.
But for obvsious reasons, I dont like the original image GUI, I want to have my VIX image back again.

When I test the network from the box network menu - everything looks in order, but when I restart the box the dreadful message comes again 'version check error...etc which I know for sure it means that the box can not communicate with VIX repository sites'.

This is puzzling me. please someone help!

many thnx

When you loaded 6.0 I assume you carried out the boot loader upgrade ? If so the only image that supports this is Black Hole.
You can use older images after the update but I am not sure how they will perform.

VIX board is still running just fine also.

Thnx for the quick reply m8.

Yes, I did the boot loader upgrade. After that I reflashed with VIX 2.2 and it was running ok - as before, no plugins possible download.
Same for PLi.

The only image that can access its repositories is the original image. But i dont know how to install the sofcam manager. I am trying to telnet it. It says installed - done, but it does not show anyere in the menu tree of the original image. :O

I am now trying VTI

I know that VIX board runs ok, but I cant access it - neither from my box, nor from my laptop. Might smth wrong with my ISP or my router/home network.

Update: I am running VTi now, seems OK, I can download their plugins, I installed cccam manager and other stuff. FYI
