I to have had the same issues as you guys since adding latest patch. I have also had registration key error (0). Seems to be when epl football is on, I am forever now rebooting and switching Ethernet on an off. One thing though if I try at other times and i have no issues. Any thoughts.

not locking the patch in using factory resets both before and after seem to cause problems like that to happen , and the error is a missing mac code in the 250MC section of the ethernet section

a factory reset and reload the patch seems to cure it , although mister-t also had this problem highlighted and the spider team were asked to investigate it further by anrakh , no solution as yet

a lot of people in the uk , including me , lost the service for about 20 to 30 minutes

as dads army once said , dont panic mr mannering sir ( these things happen , so dont get paranoid or start messing with patches , I aint )

although you are better downloading to usb stick and doing it properly wherever possible

the rest of you should stop hi jacking the thread and deal with the problems posted by the OP in future

I could not watch earlier today, so reverted back to mandatory patch and all has been well since. When I originally installed the latest patch, I did the reset before and after installing, but was still hit and miss

THIS THREAD IS NOT ABOUT YOUR SUNDAY AFTERNOON ISSUES LOSING THE MATCHES FOR 20 MINUTES

try answering the OP,s questions instead of whingeing about a small outage

the next person to stray off topic and mention todays outage will get an infraction , until the OP posts back with more info

When doing the reset, of Ethernet, to get the connection, I often reboot the receiver, using the menu options, this usually causes the Login ID to go blank, but I leave it on connecting, for a few minutes, the box does then connect and I then get my Login ID back.

Hello,

Well I was having the same problems as you guys until I read somewhere that 'you do not need UCAS on' unless
you are watching the french channels, I dont watch these channels so I 'Switched UCAS OFF' and it seems to have solved the problem, 'fingers crossed' ....dont know if it will help you guys but try it,it works for me....

Got to go now I am oft to bloody work....

not true at all , you can watch those with ethernet or with ucas

but you still need ucas turned ON to watch any other channels opened with that softcam , like bulsat on 39e for instance

the point is use one or the other as required

and the OP still hasnt replied with the current situation he is in
