I notice folk are having problems with downloading the epg on 28e as I did initially.
Original Instructions were:
1-7days EPG (28e UK)
a- turn on a stb
b- move to 11778 on Astra2
c- wait for a minute
d- move to other channels.
This is how I now do it:
What I do is select a channel on 11778V on 28e
Then press the EPG button and you will see the above channel highlighted in the EPG.
Between 45 secs to a minute the 7days worth of EPG will download.
You can then move to the 28e channel / time you want to set to record and hit rec.
Another way to initiate download is press epg.
Move till over a 11778V channel and press OK
Wait for 45secs to 1 min. and the epg will be there.
(There are a few channels where no epg info appears including the "barkers" on 11778 transponder).
This works on 737p on Super and on 114P with 6902T2.
The clue is you must be in the EPG mode for download to take place.
