Digi tv smart card

Hai. I would like to watch "DIGI TV" package (Thor 5/6, 0.8W, NAGRAVISION 3) on my spiderbox 9900. I have viewing card from them, with their receiver (HUMAX DIGI+II). When i put viewing card into slot on my spiderbox 9900 it say initializing and nothing happened, channels still scrambled. People from "DIGI TV" says that viewing card is paired with their receiver. That why probably not work with my spiderbox. Does anybody can help me to let it work on my spiderbox? any help really appreciated.

Unless you have rsa and boxkey it is not going to work.
Not even sure the spider will do what you want even if you have them.

The only way you will be able to use that card outside the official receiver is if you know the RSA and Boxkey and use it with sbox in a linux receiver.

In the satellite TV world, JTAG is most often used to obtain read-write access to nonvolatile memory within a digital receiver; initially programs such as Wall and JKeys were used to read box keys from receivers with embedded CAMs but JTAG has since proven its legitimate worth to satellite TV fans as a repair tool to fix receivers where the firmware (in flash memory) has been corrupted.

Again, additional protection - Set Top Box (STB) has a specific Key which is paired with the Original Smart Card (OSC) and that way the card only works with that key.

Not necessarily ONLY in that box but with that Box Key.

I.e. if you can read it out, using the necessary tools (HW and SW-wise), the OSC can work in a non-original STB, which can have that BK put into its own firmware (FW) and "act as if" it is the original STB...
