Best epg downloader for VUDUO+?

What's the best epg downloader for the VU?

I am using Pli image.

I have tried crossepg and it's pretty good, but doesn't obtain more than now and next for a certain UK satellite package.

When configuring it for Sly, what option do you use?
I seem to get 7 days for all others

I use the XEPGDP providers and tick Rytec UK BBCi and UK XMLTV and set it to download every day at 4am

Still only getting now and next.

Maybe I should dump the PLI image, but I do like it.

If the PLI image uses the updated bootloader why not give the latest ViX a try seems to work well here but needs to have the bootloader upgraded

I have never knowingly updated the boot loader.

It's possible that the boot loader was updated during one of the daily updates.

I will make some enquiries.

why do some images need the boot loader first before install?
