Have any of you Spiderbox 9900 users updated from the 9000.
I know tha basic differences, and currently have a 9000 that i purchased when they were 1st launched.
I replaced my Linux last year with a lovely DM800HDse which is great and as usually for DM quality.
I try to do some type of update each year, and little need to change this year
The only thing I can see maybe to update is the 9000 for a 9900 but with the better processor, is it any quicker?
I do prefere the look but, need more than that to make a change.
Are there others who have done the change that can comment please.

I have upgraded from a 9000 to 9900, the only difference
l can see is that the 9900 clears the channels quicker. The
only downside is that theres a problem with a few
channels on hispersat 30`w man u tv and sport ingl to
name but two. where as these channels are ok on the 9000.

I have just got into the world of Spiderboxes and jumped right in and bought the 9900 HD which i am very pleased with apart from having the same problems as everybody else on 30 West but i have been led to believe that this is a software problem which will hopefully get sorted in a future update ? Not being into Football any problems dont concern me but i find that the Syfi channel locks up the 9900 on Hipasat which is annoying but i can live with it :-)

Thanks

may be worth waiting a while and see what comes next to the market, i seem to have a good mix and the 9900 is not a massive jump from the 9000.

I now have also the 9900. there is definitly a difference in speed while changing channels. I notice that channels do not freeze like they do on the 9000. I was p[lease with the first one and now more please with the second. Not regret a minute that i ventured for Spiders....
