advice please

hi my pc has give up after many years no way to recover it. my problem is i had itunes on it and have now got a new pc with windows 7 but it will not sync my iphone 4 after putting itunes on my new pc.
any advice.

When you sync your phone will look for the pc that is authorised so you must do that first.

You say there is now way to recover your old files ? Have you tried attaching the old HDD to a linux pc ? you can normally view your folders and files this way.

thanks for the reply sonic1 my pc was really old and every other day i was getting (your pc has just recovered from a serious error or words to that afact ) so i decided to re-install xp again from the start but it just crashed. my son says you can only re-install it with the recovery disks so many times and i have done this over the years. so i have lost everything.

i am not worried about what i lost on my old pc just to get my new pc to sync whats on my iphone now. i know what your saying my phone was paired to my old pc.

That's a shame I hope you did not loose too much.
I keep my itunes library on a NAS with a backup as I would hate to loose so much.
The great thing with w7 is it is easy to share everything on your home network.
If you still don't have any joy come back and I will do my best to help.
