What a fiasco United losing by a penalty which WASN'T!
If ever this was a case for bringing in technology?
In any case both the ref AND the ref's linesman must have been BLIND?

Soberingly they are only discussing using technlolgy for GOAL-LINE incidents, well what about offsides, fouls and other important events too?

I despair,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,:reddevil:

Hi M8

I thought that the Score was 1- 1, and they could not both have been blind as one saw it as a corner ( The Ref ) while the linesman saw it as a penalty, which the ref then gave after talking to his assistant, and the linesman was in line with the play the ref was behind the play and the incident.

goal line technology is totally different to offsides pens, ect,we dont want to be stop-starting ever 5 mins we got to allow refs to make decisions ,to be fair my first thought were pen then saw the vid and rio made a great tackle

Well it's was overdue, for the toon getting a decision to go our way at Old Trafford

I never saw the first half,
As i had to go down to a UKA training session & classification with my Son @ EIS Sheffield with my lad first thing today.

But i did put the hammer down to get back for the second half.

We were hanging on in the second half more than happy with the result.

Unfortunately i won't see the Toon v Chelsea game next week
as I'm in Manchester @ Sport City my lad has a GB Training Squad Session
Missing big games but needs must.
