9000 trouble

i have spiderbox 9000 HD one month old was working ok, till tonight, in middle of the match/film 9pm ish, suddenly 'scrambled channel' so reset channel, box, says its connected and registerd fine, , reset router, nothing

after an hour and a ****ed off family laughing at my efforts with the box, starting to dig up threads about older 7000 series boxed disconnecting, but mine is brand new??

Try turning it off for 5 minutes then turn it on again, this has been reported to work, but first go into the Spiderbox menu, navigate to Network and Ethernet, turn Ethernet off, top option. Now completely exit the menu, re-enter the menu, Network, Ethernet, turn it on and register, while it's saying connecting move the cursor up, to highlight it, then down again.

I suffered this problem last night, just left it for about 15 mins and all came back - thank god!

yes, that worked, reminds me of the old days with a sk* box, youd always be told to leave it mains off for 15 mins and it worked, but off for 10 seconds would not
