If the lines are valid, and work, it should connect, if not then nothing will happen.
Are these free lines, off the internet, by any chance?

If you loaded the file above its a blank/test file.
You have to add the details of you server, id, password etc. then it will work.

hhi guys where can i get the cfg file thanks
is simple....

if some one gave you
C line ...should be ....... IP or domain name lest says ....C: xxxx.no-ip.info 12000 test1 test2
if is N line should be same + dec key mean like this N: xxxx.no-ip.info 12000 test1 test2 01----------------14

if text files not work..

You press button PR in Remote control by Trick - ---- ( without going in MENU -Network-Client )
press ok when is OFF Turn ON.

Type . Necamd or Ccam
name if Ip adress xxxx.no-ip.info
PORT 12000
ID test1
Password test2
Des keys 01----------------14 ( if is Cccam mean C line you do not need this.)
APPLY

When you APPLY and save ....get EXIT...and you see if you conect and how many Card....

after Exit ,,,exit until full Picture...
For more info double time Info...
and go direct to your Line press PR button in RCU.

have put it all in still not clearing i have being told its got to be port 9000 but cant put this in any help please

all ports are 5 digits , so port 9000 is actually 09000 , port 998 would actually be 00998 , you catch my drift ?

No, I didn't on my BT hub 3.
It just works... Make sure you don't have any spaces at the end of your line in the file or it will not load the line.

Its also easy to add the line using the remote to test it on the"Client Setup" menu, then you can create a .cfg file for backup later.

Its so easy to do on the SpiderBox, thats what makes the box sooooo good...

thanks mate do i have to change any settings in my router linksys

not if you are only receiving , but if you needed to then just forward the port using both TCP/UDP to the spiderbox ip direct , shouldnt need to however

going mad here cant get it to work helpppppppppppp please

this forum has rules m8y

you can ask for technical help on what goes where and how to do it

and thats as far as is allowed , its not our job to spoonfeed you the info other than what you have already been told

if you follow the correct procedures it will work

and that is to add the hostname , port , name and password , in the correct upper or lower cases , correct spelling and any other characters

this can be done by config or by remote control

all the info you need has been given to you in this thread and by the guy giving you the sea lion

its your job to get it sorted from this point on

here endeth the lesson

@ den 123 Just copy and paste your line onto a usb stick with your server cfg file on it, then you cant get your spacing or spelling wrong, open up usb on your spider and import, it really is that easy mate ! if you have your settings in properly and its a working line that is !
