- From now RTi team will base images on 2.6.22.19-25-opensat kernel which seems optimised for Sigma SMP 8634 CPU, and we are very pleased with performance.

- New driver interface with 863xdvb.ko as main driver, which is completely rewritten, and probably this release have most of things fixed which was not working with previous version of our Enigma 2 image. So below You can find highlighted fixes:

- Zapping speed is definitively faster now.

- Fixed PVR, TS and playback of recorded material.

- Timeshift is fully fixed now.

- Added support for LED's on Premium and Premium+

Some updates we will push trough RTi Online update.

-open the DCC network to locate the box and
-substitute the following ftp driver attached to /lib/modules/2.6.22.19-25-opensat/extra,
-change the CHMOD (attributes to 664), then just
-type in telnet

reboot +
-enter...

Hi,

To use RTi 1.5.1 simply change the default skin with Az-Concinnity-HD (downloadable from the menu, select it and reboot your box).
Then your Azbox HD will work:
Zap in +/- 3 seconds
EPG is working
Timeshift is working.

Don't use the default skin...

How to change bits in an E2 Image easily and try different combinations of kernel/drivers/files... My edit of the original, as the online translator makes a mess of it sometimes, in terms of the order of things...

Also ich hab das RSI installiert.Danach auf MC 0.3.2 gewechselt. Dann mit AzUp 2.1.4 den Kernel vom RTI v1.5 installiert. Vom V1.5 hab ich mir das RtiLED Plugin rausgemopst (siehe Anhang).
Danach die Dateien gesucht, die für die Infos des Plugins zuständig sind.

Das Plugin kommt nach /usr/lib/enigma2/phyton/Plugins/Extensions und die Dateien Standby.py und Standby.pyo nach /usr/lib/enigma2/phyton/screens.

Dateirechte des Plugins habe ich auf 755 (inkl. Dateien). gesetzt.

Surprised no one has tried the latest Powerboard image released the day before the ill fated 1.5.
It's in both my Elite and Prem plus, fast zapping, mediaplayer seems fine, can't fault it so far.....................

- New driver 863xdvb.ko wit several fix inside of it.

- Fix for EPG

- Fix for RF Mod (Elite/Premium)

- Added Input video scan mode

- Added Interlaced progressive algo

- Revert playing TS file from Media Center to internal E2 Player (Press EPG button, choose which recording you want to play, and press ok. To stop playing press stop button on RCU) (We tested playback of files recorded with Enigma 2!!!!)

- Added new options in A/V settings, related to Input video scan mode and Interlaced progressive algo

- Several small fixes in enigma2 and python

Wow! MC doesn't wanna play anything at all, just throws a tantrum and kicks everything out... Nice!

USB HDD automount couldn't see loadsa films on my USB HDD. Then TS Panel Device Manager says "not mounted". Once it was mounted - result was the same....

Restarting > got stuck at 74%, rebooting via RCU not working and when manually rebooted - it was.... tense...

Finally, it was recognised and mounted - no go for mkv, avi and suchlike, only full DVD played well.

Swell... Time to sleep...

EDIt: this morning it's the same. Problems seeing the HDD initially (took its time doing it) and then not playing anything, except DVDs. MKV, avi, mpg - nothing goes! This MC is very faulty, it seems to me! Two installations, the same result!

Must try the old Media Player... Possibly found somewhere in TS Panel and then - maybe...

Or back to PowerBoard image... or RSI...

normal Premium:
I have also massiv problems with Mediacenter. All my movies will not play. If I start a movie in few seconds Mediacenter go back to list I will play.

Also timeshift is not working on HD channels. After few seconds picture and tone is stuttering and than it stays. Press than 3/6/9 or 1/4/7 it will play again for some seconds and after few seconds picture and tone is stuttering again and than it stays On SD channels picture and tone will stop after about 20 seconds.

That can explain bootloaders broken !

Found this:

I found out that MC is cutting off before the end of a film/episode/clip, for whatever reason... Anyone else with similar experience?!?

It also places .cuts files in video folders and keeps asking you if you want to continue from a certain point where you allegedly stopped last time you were watching it... It's not cool that the default is on "yes", btw...

Conclusion: there were almost no files I managed to watch all the way to the end... Which is extremely annoying and it makes the whole thing unusable....

I have a Seagate 1TB USB HDD with own PSU, eco-friendly variety, formatted in EXT3.

I transferred the files from NTFS laptop partition, using Ubuntu 11.10.

Any ideas?

That 1.5.3 image is for me much better then older ones, anyway you have to install all fixes avaible online url, otherwise you have RSI 0.3 image wich are with all fixes inside and avaible cccam 3.0 and other stuffs.

so just choose or intall both to look inside one in dom and another one in usb.
