Am determinined to get tomtom maps onto my F& H

Hi M8s

Have a F&H which will run TT 7910 as posted by Echelon. It has WinnCe 5 so reading the posts should be able to put TT maps on.

Could someone point me in the right direction of a TTmap that will work with the above. Map needs to be Western Europe including GB and I.

I know for a fact I got the link to the 880 maps just the other day after reading this thread here

I havent yet tried them though , too busy ,but if he says they work , we must believe him as he spent some time doing this already

must be doing summin wrong...got Western_and_Central_Europe_880_38 10 maps installed on SD via BBS Tools via device.
no **** txt with the maps but found it via GPS u/g....which was also the same as listed in BBS standard **** txt. Edited the bbs std **** txt so only showed
the txt I got off gps u/g. so just showed ; Europe_870_3406 "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "" Europe-452.****. Saved the txt Then went to KeyGen...Located **** file in the maps. Chose dct v8 activate..up comes make sure you have the updated **** txt.

Help neede doing my head in.

I hope you copied and pasted the correct me ta txt file into bbs tools edit me ta section , before trying to apply the patch to the map folder

if necessary , practice on one you know works , then move that to a store folder on the sdcard , have a new folder with your new maps inside it , then try to patch it after altering the me ta to the correct one

Followed the instructions given in comments and blow me down worked first time.
Used fast activate not BBS Tools.
