sata or sata II

Hi all,
i need to put a hard drive in my azbox premium(sold it to a mate),but can't remember if it's sata or sata II i need.
any help appreciated.

sata 2 drives are backward compatible so will work on a sat 1 port .

I would advice you to use a SATA hdd, with original fw SATAII can give some strange affects.

Or a hdd you can set to SATA ( 1,5Gbs )
