hi there just set up to record footie but just wanted to check i have done it right as you dont seem to get any timer symbol on box hd 9000 cheers.

If you're recording to external drive from EPG navigate to the program in the EPG then press record button.
The prog will then show as red in the EPG. (come out of epg then go back in to check it)
I believe the spider 9000HD will even take your dish to the correct channel if you are elsewhere at the time.
