Dream 500s problem

My Dream 500s has completely stopped working...There is no Lights on it at all...Iv'e tried a different power lead from another eagle and it is still not lighting up whatsoever, I took the top off and had a look to see if there was a fuse or something but there is nothing obviously burnt out or anything.......

Has anyone come across this problem before? can it be viably repaired or is it for the bin?

The cost of a 500 makes a repair uneconomical especially when you can only buy a clone 500s for less than £50
Personally I would spend your money on another Eagle if that's where the budget lies.

Thanks for the reply Sonic1................ as it happens the family have bought me a clark-tech ET9000 which i have managed to set up on my motorised dish and the 2nd tuner on my old static S*y dish

...........I am trying to get my head round how the EPG works at the moment i don't fully understand the theory of it.........Iv'e downloaded some stuff off the Rytec website but that's about as far as iv'e got with it so far...

I reckon it's the bin for the 500s.....and thanks again for the reply..
