hi all
how many tuners does this box have and is it easy to use.

1 sat tuner only , which is ok for SD and also HD too

spiderboxes are very easy to use

there is a 9000 combo version with a freeview SD terrestrial tuner in it too , as well as the sat tuner

so you can,t watch a program and record a diferant chanel at the same time?

maybe on the same transponder , not sure about that

definitely not completely different channels as its not a twin tuner receiver , which would need a twin or quad output lnb for what you are proposing and a completely different receiver , costing a lot more money

most twin tuner receivers are linux and therefore NOT as easy to use compared to a bespoke firmware spiderbox

suggest you ask that question again in the HD DIGITAL SATELLITE RECEIVER CHAT SECTION for informed answers on that score
