not on its own , but if you use a dongle router with it then you can

if you already have a wireless router with broadband , use the vonets wifi usb adapter , or a pair of homeplugs instead

yes , that method can be used if you setup the lappy as a wireless bridge

easier with the dongle router though as then the lappy doesnt need to be switched on , and both devices can connect wirelessly or by ethernet with suitable cables and devices

although it can be used to update files , its generally used for a srvr to talk to your box and open channels , like the g**t does

so typically this can be say 0.5 meg to 2 meg , but having a 10 meg or 24 meg broadband makes no difference , as the traffic is neglible

a stable broadband is what is required , and a typical national minimum 2 meg one is ample
