Hi all,

Ive not been able to get my s4000 to automatically get IP from my router...
Am I missing some setting...?
Is there an option to get a new IP assigned by the router or do I always have to turn off and on dhcp in the network settings panel?

tia

which router?

does other equipment (laptops) get an IP when connected?

sounds like your router might not be setup correctly? ive never had a problem with the ICE not getting an IP from router.

Hi ManikM,
the router is a Netopia 2247, All other devices are assigned ip's automatically (there are roughly 15 or so!)
Just to confim... you dont need to navigate to network panel and turn off and on the dhcp to get an IP?

Hi, Ive got the latest fireware working fine with dhcp. Although moving from the maxibootloader to the stock bootloader I did originally loose the dhcp network function. Reflash of the 1.54 bootloader using hdflasher cured it.
