One of two things, you have not updated the CFE or you have a clone.

No its not a clone i have not updated the CFE tho, i'll give it a go tomorrow now thanks for info.

Please make sure you use the CFE for the Solo and NOT the Duo as I have ready many times.
It will kill your box.
The update take seconds to do.

It's not going to be a problem with your box or image, more likely a problem with the sea lion.

Just found late last night my internet server was playing up all day, that would be the cause so i will revert to new image later on, very frustrating as the internet was only down for a few seconds at a time.

is it possible AFTER upgrading to new CFE , to setup an older version of BH? or i have to downgrade to 2.6.3.1 and how?
It seems from the point that i have installed 3.1.1 and BH 1.7.1 to have major problems with.....light. They even sent me an email telling me to disconnect till i find what causes to me to have no...light and also to them not to send them rubbish

You can downgrade with no issues but I do understand what you mean by having issues with light ?

Ok i will try to make it clear . Till now i had the old kernel 2.6.3.1.somewhat and the BH image ( i cannot remember the version ) . I decided to upgrade to kernel 3.1.1. and to setup the BH 1.7.1 image. The point that from now then i am dealing major problems with cccam and newcamd . I lost channels they seem to decode but still no picture . I got an email from my server they told me to put a # in front of all N lines cause i send them bad eem and i going to block all the cards (greek ) . So after one whole day of exchanging emails i decided to downgrade in order to get things going smoothly. Now the point is that i dont know how to do it and i am afraid to burn the solo....
Which is the safest way to do it and could you please help me doing it step by step .

Is it possible for the problem that occured to blaim the cccam 2.2.1 or the new image? It is very bizzare what happened

Note that i dont have a backup ( i think ) of the old module drivers. Of course i can choose what i want from the Vu+ archive as long as it is 2.6.3.1 . right?

One thing for sure is the image is not your problem.
What I suggest is you start CCCam via telnet and check the output.
Were you using a different version of CCcam before ?
Do not waste your time changing the image and drivers.

no i didnt change anything at all!! I use the same version and the same files they sent me. The only thing is that i didnt have it on my hdd and i downloaded again the 2.2.1 ccam. They told me that there is a trojan in the cccam and was sending them bad data. Is it possible that the cccam has a trojan?? and if so what should i do about it. They also told me that the cards from greek provider ( you know of course ) were programmed to do this in 2012 in order to stop working this way.
I dont know how to telnet the cccam. Kind of newbie. How do i do it and what i am supposed to see?

Select common interface and then reboot the box.
Start a telnet session the type this
cd /usr/bin
then CCcam_2.211 -d ( the CCcam_2.2.1 needs to be exactly as you find it in usr bin folder )
Then watch the output for anything strange, you can post the output here but remove all private info from it.

Lol now I know why there are problems with BH and sea lions. They are just too heavy for the image to handle:respect-053: and must be needing a lot of space, looking at that google link
