Is this image: Dream-Elite-3.0-dm500hd-rev008r0_05-01-2012-20-19.rar compatible with my receiver? (My receiver is a: DM 500 HD clon Ferrari card SSL83F)

However I can answer and be glad to do it !

It will not work on a Ferrari as it has a special card.
It will work on any 2.x sll75 or higher
If You still use 75 then You need to upgrade to sll 84b - and everything will work fine !

I hope that the clones will make the "Genuin" DB cheaper ! They are anything but cheap - not even close to a "good" price !
When then clones work like this - perhaps we can have a better price on the "real ones"

Hi oldfart, I have original dm500hd but cannot flash the box using this image. I get an error "INVALID IMAGE (OR OLD VERSION)"

My bootloader is dreambox-secondstage_84-r0_dm500hd and logo dreambox-bootlogo_8.2-r3_dm500hd (if it makes any difference).

Would you have any pointers?

I switched the box off and then on and it worked (did not work after I bounced it using the front standby/restart button - or whatever it's called). Strange.

can anyone help me as I am new to dreambox. I have a dm500hd an installed the image above. I cannot seem to find any cccam though. Ive tried looking in the addon plugins but couldnt see anything and also tried to open dcc to install the cccam into the 'temp' folder but I cant seem to look up or view the temp folder. Any help would be great.

OoZooN does not contain any cams - nor are there any plugins.
you need to find it seperately
then ftp it into /tmp
blue button - install ipk from /tmp

Thanks oldfart - for some reason dcc doesnt see the files on my dreambox (ftp component not ready) but ive tried using flashfx & can now see the files.
