I've been quite quiet recently but still checking the forums out now and then. Wish you all a good year ahead.

I want to share my experience which may be helpful to others.
Recently I have got hold of a Sundtek DVB-CT (capable of DVB-C and DVB-T) USB stick and I wanted to see how it works on the dm800. After setting it up I was initially pleased to see that it works but unfortunately channel zap speed is way too slow. I tried with several images including the newer dreamelite, newnigma and other popular dm800 images - all giving the similar performance issue. Furthermore the stability of the dm800 seems to be somewhat affected. Presumably the USB stick draws on resources which make a impact on general performance.

I have used the same USB stick on my HTPC (Acer revo 3700, running Openelec(XBMC)) and I must say it works a bit better - my presumption is that there are more available resources compared with dm800. So I have a smargo cardreader in the post on its way to me! This is the way its going for me at the moment, getting more involved with HTPC with TV and moving a little further away from STB.
