Western & Central Europe Maps

Hi all

First of all, thanks for the info on here which has enabled me to update my UK & ROI maps to 870.3417, although still on the 745.9028 Navcore. Since then I've been trying to get Western & Central Europe 2GB 860.3110 maps installed on a secondary SD card but am not having much luck and would appreciate some guidance.

I've installed Navcore 8204.9718, installed the maps, patched the me ta file and "successfully" activated the maps, but my device will not load the navigator. Ominously, BBS Tools Suite has nothing in the version, serial number, or device ID boxes when I read this card. The only way I've found to get these details back is to copy the ttnavigator.bif file from my UK & ROI card, but that switches the Navcore back to 745.9028. Altough this does at least load the navigator application, it instead says "no maps found".

I'm clearly being dumb and am more than happy to declare it publicly if someone could point out where I'm going wrong! Thanks in advance.

The Western & Central Europe 2GB 860.3110 map will only work with v9.*** navcore - so you need a different map version. Do you need the Western & Central europe map ?

Thanks Russell. I thought it might well be something simple like that. I had found the v875 map in the other thread but was unable to download it as filesonic has a download limit of 1GB for free users and I wasn't sure it would get me any further anyway.

Is there anywhere else I can get the v875 Western Europe maps? If not I might just stop being quite so tight and splash out the $9 for membership, particularly if I know it will actually work.
