RTi Core v1.6.0 v Spaze 2.1 (with 1.5.3 drivers)

guys, im using spaze, but wondering whether to try 1.6.0 - anyone used both and got an opinions>

what was fixed between 1.5.3 and 1.6.0 drivers anyone know?

I like Spaze 2.1 mostly since it has the ntfs-3g driver that allows NTFS HDDs to read/write.

RTi Core v1.6.0 Enigma 2 readme says

What is new ?
- New driver 863xdvb.ko with several fix inside of it ------Note: same as v1.5.3
- Fix HDMI passthrought
- Fix for MyTube
- LED Fix
- MC Fix
- Added UPnP/DLNA client/server - in MC you can found new sub menu : My UPnP

Not tried it myself so can't confirm if changes are meaningful.

Spaze 2.1 is using 1.5.3 drivers tho, not 1.6.0

Curious: what does 1.6.0 entry "new driver" mean, if after that it is said "the same as 1.5.3"?!?

I added the comment "------Note: same as v1.5.3"

The point I was making is that the entry "- New driver 863xdvb.ko with several fix inside of it" was the same as was said in the v1.5.3 release.

Sorry, I meant the RTi Team's PR - no longer "new" in 1.6.0... :rolleyes:
