tuner server

hi all this is how i got tuner server working on my vu ultimo
first i went to the blackhole e2 settings by pushing blue x2 and enabled tuner server using lan ? then i used filezilla and went to my hardrive and copyed the tuner folder to my pc then downloaded vcl player and used that to open the tuner files and it played ok on sd channels but not hd ? if anybody has a better way of doing this please post it thanks ??

You must have a fixed IP on your box > update your settings > bulid the tuner server > activate mediatomb > open vlc on your pc and select the stream.
Also works on PS3 and your other VU or Dreambox if you have UPnP

Hi sonic1,

I am ordering a VU+ Uno tomorrow, hope someone can try with Laptop.
My idea was to take Laptop to a friends home, and try to connect to the
VU+ Uno thats in standby, connect Laptops HDMI cable to his TV and view
Uno's channels on his TV with the Uno's vertual channel list.
