Help motorised setup duo

I have been using a duo for months and have always been unclear of how to setup tuner A and Tuner B.
I have duo connected to motorised and have a twin lnb with two cables to box.
Tuner A is usals
Tuner B is 2nd cable of motorised
Is this the best way to setup as my sats are not finding all the channels there should be?

That is the correct way to setup a twin lnb on a motorised dish, as for your losing channels are they not out of footprint for your location if not then generally a rescan on that particular satellite should cure it.

I was before using advanced all sats auto lnb and do on for tuner A but read that is wrong not that I understand why because it did work ok. Just want to clarify and have it right

I've used, with great success, tuner A set to Advanced, and tuner B (the option of) equal to tuner A.

I use tuner a set to advanced and tuner b set to "second cable of motorized lnb"

advanced? then what theres 15 more options on that way

This is where I'm getting confused as when I first got the duo I set up as advanced then was told that was wrong. The fact that I have twin lnb and motor makes me wonder in what situation advanced would be suitable???
