updating a via 4 JSC card

Im having no end of problems trying to update a JSC card , last year the card updated no problem in a technomate 1500CI , but this year it will not take the update , I all so have a dm800 a vu solo and have tried different variants of softcams to update this card .

has anyone got any ideas before i have to post the card to the dealer .

Have you tried Mgcamd with newcs in the 800 ?

You can also give a try with scam 3.58 or 3.60 !
It updates my Via4 cards in few Minutes

I have a Technomate 6800 HD & 5402 HD also and I actually updated a fellow forum members Viaccess card as his Clarktech wouldnt do it, maybe they have made a slight change to the structure of the update & the receivers softcams dont get it.

After a bit more reading of this forum , I found out it was best to turn off the patch in the TM and wehey it works :)

I was able to update my JSC viacess card using the Spiderbox 9000.

could you give me some help in setting up my jsc 12 month viaccess card,,,,,,what cam to use and how to update card when needed.

just need to activate card in CCcam it worked for me or SCAM as mentioned once card is activated it will continue to get updates at least mines does anyhow ive not had to look near it since Jan 3rd this year and running fine ever since with CCcam2.011 .

i didnt modify nothin' just ALLOW EMM : YES In cfg ..wacked it into my dmbox with CCcam2.011 and it clears channl in approx 20 secs ... then all channls ok provided you pay for all 10 channls originally ??
it just needs that few initial secs and Emm hits .. then Entitlements should be reading something similar to mine and you should not need to look at card again it updates just fine with EMM: YES [ IN CFG ].
