Transfer internet list to the S3000.

Hi all,

I wonder if it is possible to download a channel list from somewhere like King_of_sat and transfer it to the S3000 via usb. I currently do it on my Technomate 6800HD using ClarkeTech Editor and I'd like to know if a similar program can be used for the Icecrypt 3000. Apologies if this has been asked and answered before but I'm new to the Icecrypt and any help would be appreciated.

There is a basic channel editor for the S3000 but it doesn't import settings from King of Sat.
The higher Icecrypt models have better editors which can import from E2 settings but that is not the case with the S3000.

Thanks for that ColdAsIce; much appreciated. I haven't actually taken delivery of my receiver yet and I was just trying to sort out a list in advance of its arrival. Looks like I will have to wait til I get it, do a scan and edit afterwards. Would it be best to upgrade the firmware first?

yes do the upgrade then the settings. You can back the whole lot up onto a USB after for safe keeping and easy restore.

can u use a fav channel list for an openbox s10 on an s3000? ta

Not sure about an Openbox as this name is used for various makes/brands of receivers if the Openbox is using ALi 3601 processor then I would think the channel list would be the same.
If you post the list on here I could try it.
