View Full Version : Dream Elite 3.0 EPG download but channels have no data

Hi guys,

I have tried researching this issue, to no avail, so I am hoping for some help here.

I have an original DM500HD and have flashed it with Dream Elite 3.0. The image has come with CrossEPG (version 0.6.2) installed so I have configured it as follows:

Storage device - network share
CSV import - no (tested with yes as well)
Scheduled download - yes
XMLTV providers - Rytec UK BBCi XMLTV and Rytec UK XMLTV

On the PC i get the following 6 files:
crossepg.aliases.db
crossepg.descriptors.db
crossepg.headers.db
crossepg.indexes.db
crossepg.log
ext.epg.dat

I have gone through the log file and everything seems to be ok, at least to an untrained eye. However, when I list the channels I get no EPGs whatsoever.

Could anyone point me in the right direction, please? I have also tried OpenTV providers - no luck

Tried a reboot or have u updated the providers before downloading listings?

Also I have found that there is a bug in crossepg 0.62 that it will keep losing the hard drive as selected device and will default to internal flash with no option of switching to the hard drive. the only way you can get the hard drive back is to reboot. I have also tested this with a usb stick which is correctly mounted, as is the hard drive and it also keeps defaulting to internal flash. Did a google about it and other have had the same problem. Been messing about with it for the past week.

I have tried the reboot, providers and listings I have done both ways and still no luck. Quite annoying.

Do you think it's worth/possible downgrading the EPG?

It upgraded the EPG, but I cannot say anything for sure yet, as it's downloading. If that fails I will definitely give your one a try as well.

An update...this seems to be working but not 100%. After I select a channel it shows the EPG on that one and a few more (possibly the same transponder)...
