MgcamD - just won't work for me!

I have Oozoon image installed (up to date) and also have TSpanel plugin which I used to download and install Mgcamd 1.38 with.

I can see a Softcam.key in var\keys and in usr\script I can see MgCamd138.sh

I use minicat to download the latest keys, which seems to work OK for CCcam, so I thought it would be the same for Mgcamd, is this not so?

Is there something else I'm missing as I still can't seem to clear any of the channels on bulsat?

Any help please?
A walk through on a re-installation if necessary, as maybe TSpanel is not the right plugin to install this cam with (although it seems to list all the cams in it's 'Manage Cams' section!).

If you go into Blue button it should show diagnostic data below the cam selection area (not all images display it though).

try another persons keys matey..such as bliner keys..minicat seems to have way to many files..

I haven't used the latest MgCamD but the earlier ones that opened Bul$at needed the softcam to be in the form:
I 0604 0x xxxxxx...
I 060400 0x xxxxx... wouldn't work.

Open the key file with notepad or the linux app in the Dream and have a peek.

Download the file posted by Dumnonia and update you keys
I have always found minicat keys to be some of the best these days.

As I've said before , I have the luxury of having a Skystar card in my PC. That means I can test a new key by just cutting and pasting it into vPlug before updating my DB.

I rarely load a complete file but simply edit the one in my DB with DCC. I'd advise others to try it as it gives an insight into the frequency of key changes by the various providers.

BTW the Bul$at and Canal Digit@@l keys referred to in the above post are currently out of date.

I've checked the keys and they are in the format :- I 0604 06 005xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

As I type this the current working key is

I 0604 04 07B6xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Note: if you manually edit keys you need to re-start the cam to get it to accept the changes.

Thanks for that, it matches the one I just downloaded from PowerCisco's updated bundle,
Can you name me one fta channel and one that is supposed to clear on bulsat with these keys so I can check that I'm not amking a mess of everything.

Sorry about the delay.

Folklor is FTA and Fox Life needs the emu (cam) and softcam key file with the above key.

Nova sport seems to be a problem on some images but opens for me with MgCamD
