28.2° East signal strenth

Has anyone noticed a change in the signal strength from the ITV and RTE transponders on Astra ?
Looks like they have gone from spot beam to wide, at least the signal strength has doubled here in Deutschland over the last week or so.

Alot of fta channels are moving to the new satellite Astra 1N this satellite as a far stronger signal strength than the old Eurobird 1.

Now all we need is for them to start showing some decent programs and less repeats.

Oh yeah and I wonder if they might consider scrapping subscription charges and reducing advertising to zero? Ah my wee joke for a Sunday morning :)

If they would just scrap the 24 mins of advertising every hour, the subs might be worth paying, the progs might be bearable.
