VU+ Uno and External Drive

Hi All,

How to record to External Hard Drive, ?.
I have installed an Internal Hard drive in
the Uno.
Im after help to find a path to record to the
External drive from the Uno.
The Uno can find the Extenal Drive and
play recording's on that drive, but can't
find a path to record to External Drive
over Internal drive.

How is it connected ? USB , esata or NAS ?

If it's a USB external HDD then the path is /media/usb/movie

Hi All,

@ sonic1, Its a USB drive using Uno's front USB port.

@LeeGW, I pressed Blue, Blue, Black Hole Device manager,
set Mountpoint to Media/Usb for External drive,
(there are two other USB Mountpoints USB 2 & 3).

Then menu..Setup..Record path, OK, but the HDD/movie
path was Grayed out, Unable to change path to USB/Movie.

Funny thing was when I Played back a recording,
recored with the VLC Media player using a PC and
B/holes Server Tuner the Uno's remote did't
start playback when I pressed Play (>). It
started playing the USB External Drives recording
when I pressed the Blue button. Is stoped OK
when I pressed Stop.
