which image for dreambox dm8000

Hi i've just ordered a dm8000 (original) and i was wondering which image would be best for:

1 a good 7 day epg (that will really show 7 days mainly for sly)
2 recording/playback/ timer recording
3 recording on dvd-from hdd/or may be direct DVD (both dvd/ hdd ARE INTERNAL)
4 saving video's from net to hdd
by the way since dm8000 has scart would i be able to connect my very old VHS VIDEO and convert my old tapes to dvd (maybe record/copy them to hdd and then record on to dvd

Dream Elite is good or Oozoon. I run DE 2.1 atm and crossepg. With a 1.5TB HDD I can record from channels, HD included and programming is easy. All images have a timer page. Net recording also well possible via the screen page when on the net. My video is connected by scart and records to either. Have fun - its a great machine - Cheers - Brain

I'm a BIG Dreamelite fan myself but also love Nemesis images for looks & options. Both are stable, well supported and highly recommended. :)
